Corina Lucero - 9/21/1929 - 5/27/2026 

Corina Lucero, 97, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her only son, Timothy Joseph Lucero and her parents, Jose E. and Amanda Archuleta. 

Corina is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Juan Ruben Lucero. Three daughters, Christie Johnson and husband Mark of Dixon; Ruby Maese and husband Perry of Espanola; and Drucilla Lucero of Dixon, who took great loving care of her. Grandchildren, whom she cherished, Aaron Johnson & wife Ren; Zach Johnson & wife Megan of Dixon; T.J. Maese of Espanola, and Robin Maese & Vitalia Archuleta of Ohkay Owingeh. Great grandchildren, whom she loved and enjoyed till the end, Rio, Lhotse & Juniper Johnson. Her siblings; Harry, Lupita, Mary, Rose (Manuel} and Margaret, many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. Three Very Special caregivers whom she came to love as her own family; Shirley Gonzales, Albinita Herrera and Jerry Archuleta.

"Don't remember me with sadness. Don't remember me with tears. Remember all the love and laughter we shared throughout the years".

Mass will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Dixon, NM.
