Clorindo Miguel Rael

Clorindo Miguel Rael, 79, of Truchas, NM, passed away May 16, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents Juan A. and Trancita Rael; brothers Rudy, Larry, Abe, and Frank Rael; sister Ernestine Rael; brothers-in-law Frank Chavez and Melecio Martinez; nephews Dominic Rael and Francisco Rael; and nieces Rebecca Martinez and Katie Rael.

He is survived his by sisters Stella Martinez of Truchas, NM, Flora Casados (Casey) of Chamisal, NM, and Connie Rael (Roy) of Albuquerque, NM; brothers Ben Rael (Jean) of Albuquerque, NM, and Mark Rael of Truchas, NM; sister-in-law Eileen Rael of Espanola, NM; Goddaughter Larleen Rael; nieces and nephews Brenda, Betty, Chris, and Crystal Martinez, Benedict Rael, Belinda Rael, Johnny Chavez, Juan Carlos Rael, Megan Rael, Jill, Anthony, and Bryon Casados; along with many numerous relatives and friends.

A public viewing will take place at 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Sangre De Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, with a rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, NM, with a burial to follow at Los Llanitos Cemetery in Truchas, NM.

Pallbearers will be Casey Casados, Chris Martinez, Anthony Casados, Jerome Hutt, Benadict Rael, Eduardo Trujillo and Johnny Chavez.
