Clifford Rackley was born on November 17, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah and returned to our Father in heaven on December 10th, 2021, after a lengthy illness complicated by Covid.  Cliff proudly served in the United States Navy for 30 years, retiring in 2010.  Cliff’s career was as a diesel mechanic and submariner.  He lived the majority of his life in California and moved to Espanola, New Mexico in 2017.  Cliff has been an active member of the Church of Latter-Day saints for many years, in Downey, where he met his wife, Holivama (Olive) and most recent in Fairview, New Mexico.  Cliff had a passion for working on genealogy and loved having dogs, especially Chihuahuas.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Olive, his daughter, Christy Wood of Oregon and her children, Brandon, Cameron and Holly. Step-children, Cristina Zamora, Elena Ruelas, Alex Zamora, Gustavo Zamora and Catrina Schilling and his 15 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Mark (Cory) and Mike.  He is now at peace and in the company of loved ones lost previous, his father, James Rackley, mother, Leah Rackley, and brother Scott Rackley.

Services will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Espanola, NM at 10:00 am on January 4th, 2021. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on January 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.. Service times are still pending and will be announced when they are available.
