Cleotilde Torres

Cleotilde Torres, age 95, a resident of Cordova passed away on October 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luciano and Sophia Vigil; husband Leopoldo Torres; and sons Tony and Verjilio Torres and son-in-law Luis “Lito” Montoya.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and going shopping. She was a member of the Coro de la Sagrada familia and served as a mayordoma for San Antonio Church in Cordova.

She is survived by her children Vivian, Avenilde, Manuel, Senovio (Audrey), Clarence, Laybe, David, Albert (Lorraine), Rosella, Tim and Rita Vigil, Julian and Leroy. Grandchildren; James (Stella), Victor (Anna), Virginia (Frankie), Matthew, Fabian (Kelly), Marvin (Crystal), Daniel (Loretta), Bethany, Sophia, and Timothy, greatgrandchildren; Julias, Noah, Kylie, Victor Jr., Caleb, Ariana, Mason, Lucan and Samuel.

Pallbearers will be James Montoya, Victor Montoya, Daniel Torres, Marvin Torres, Fabian Torres, and Timothy Vigil.

A rosary will take place on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 7:00 pm at DeVargas Funeral Home by the Hermanos de la Morada. Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Holy Cross Family Church in Santa Cruz with burial to follow at the Cordova Catholic Cemetery.
