Cleopatra Marie - Española Roybal

Cleopatra Marie Roybal, a resident of Española died Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Cleopatra was preceded in death by her parents; Regina Ortega Lopez & Louis Anton Bovos; brother, Louis Bovos. Cleopatra leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Eloy Richard Roybal; three children: Alice Sisneros and husband Leroy Padilla of Santa Fe, Dorothy Sisneros of Phoenix & Raymond Sisneros and wife Lisa of Albuquerque; she had 4 grandchildren: Eric, Adam and Zachary Sisneros and Miguel Padilla and wife Mamie of Albuquerque and great granddaughter, Mazzarae Padilla. Cleo loved to cook, work on crafts and to make wreaths and quilts. Although nearly blind, she listened to books and music and loved to travel. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and an inspiration and strength to her family. She was active in the Coronado Baptist Church. Cleo lived in Taos and Laramie, Wyoming when she was a young woman and also lived in Raton NM. She moved to Dixon after marrying Richard and then settled in Española. Cleo will be missed greatly by those around her. Please join us in celebrating her life. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a devotional service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the four grandchildren.
