Cindy Martinez

Cindy Mae Margaret Martinez, A resident of Espanola, NM, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ernesto and Frances Martinez, Maternal grandparents Eliseo and Beroniz Ortega, father Roy B. Martinez, mother Ercilia O. Amaya, grandson Martin Palacios J.R., and numerous uncles and aunts.

She is survived by her daughter Vanessa R. Martinez, fiancé Michael Lopez, son Eleazar Lopez Jr., son Eliseo V. Lopez, brother Roy and Phyllis Martinez, sister Angela and Adam Trujillo, sister Christina Amaya, her grandchildren Leti, Camila, Jesus, Jose and Matthew, great grandchild Laila Mia Guittierez, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and many other loved ones.

Cindy was a very strong, loving, and caring person. She loved to sing and dance and loved her sweets. She always had candy in her purse. When times would get rough, she always kept a smile. She will be greatly remembered and missed.

Mass will be held Tuesday March 28, 2023 at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, NM at 10:00am. Following will be the burial at Templo Baptismo Cementerio. A Reception will be held for Cindy following the burial at The Eagles Club in Arroyo Seco, NM.
