Christine Quintana

CHRISTINE E. QUINTANA, 68, a longtime resident of San Pedro, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 followed by a brief battle with cancer. Christine was born October 27, 1946 in the Espanola Valley to Elias and Ascension Garcia. Christine was preceded in in death by her Husband, Johnny P. Quintana; Her parents, Elias E Garcia and Ascenion "Sennie" Garcia and brother, Elias" Milly" Garcia. Mrs. Quintana is survived by her son, Johnny R. Quintana and fiancé Angela; daughter, Tammy M. Montoya and husband Edward; grandchildren, Adrian L. Maestas and wife Stephanie, Evan M. Montoya, Elias Quintana and Angela; great-grandson, Adrian L. Maestas, Jr.; brother, William Garcia and wife Shawn; sisters, Mary Ella Fernandez, Thelma Quintana and husband Jimmy, Louella Toney and husband Scott, Veronica Romero and husband Jimmy and LaVerne Garcia and husband Robert and numerous other relatives and friends. Christine was a pillar of the Española Valley community, always lending a helping hand to everyone she met. Christine was known by everyone who's life she touched in the most positive way as a truly Amazing Lady. Christine was a very loyal and active member of the Democratic Party. She was the centerpiece of her family. A devoted Mother, Loyal friend, Loving sister and the most wonderful grandmother. Christine will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to be loved by her. Public visitation will begin on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz. The family of Christine E.
