Charlene Trujillo

Charlene L. Trujillo, 66, was born on December 29, 1954, a resident of Cordova, but born and raised in Dixon, NM, passed away surrounded by family on December 26, 2021. Charlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She had a huge heart and would help anyone in need when she could. Charlene was a homemaker and home Healthcare worker, she also enjoyed help raise her grandchildren.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents Alfredo and Anita Montoya, her son Joey Trujillo, sisters Erlin Montoya and Thelma Montoya, brothers Alfred Cruz, Roger Montoya, and Melvin Montoya Sr., nephews Jamie Trujillo, Tommy Serrano, and Antonio Trujillo, sister-in-law Tammy Trujillo, brothers-in-law Nelson Montoya, Andrew Trujillo and James Trujillo, father-in-law Levi Trujillo, and daughter-in-law Vanessa Trujillo.

Charlene is survived by her husband Frutoso Trujillo, and her partner in crime her son Donny Trujillo, daughter Valerie Gonzales and husband Mark, sons Alfred Trujillo and companion Bridget, Jody Trujillo and wife Shanai, Abel Trujillo and companion Raelyn, sister Lilian Brito and husband Joe, mother-in-law Gregoria Trujillo, sisters in law, Nina Torres and Lawrence, Sarah Chavez and Alfred and Evelyn Martinez and Dennis. Her grandchildren, Angel Trujillo and companion Omar, Joey Trujillo and companion Brittany, Dante Trujillo and companion Samantha, Jared Gonzales and Alyssa Trujillo. Her great grandchildren Aliyah, Juan Carlos and Alize Dominguez, Davion Trujillo and Ezraniah Trujillo.

A rosary will take place at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola, a devotional will take place at the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola on January 27, 2022 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at the Cordova Cemetery.
