Cassie Lynn Alicia
Seaboy
April 7, 2026
Cassie Lynn Alicia Seaboy of Velarde left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Cassie attended Velarde Elementary School and graduated from Pojoaque High School in 2017. After high school, she chose to stay close to her mama in Velarde and enrolled at Northern New Mexico College for a few semesters. She soon discovered that she preferred working, and began working at Toyota of Santa Fe, later joining Gruda Veterinary Clinic in Santa Fe, where she developed a deep love for dogs; later becoming a proud mama to her two beloved fur babies, Nala and Stitch. These dogs were her world, and she loved them with her whole heart.
Cassie later left Gruda to work at Pebble Labs in Los Alamos, and most recently worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory contractor, North Wind Site Services, where she had recently been promoted to Project Coordinator. In 2025, Cassie decided to return to college and enrolled as a full-time online student at Northern New Mexico College. She quickly earned her Associate’s Degree in Business in December 2025, and was on track to graduate with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business in December 2026.
Cassie was truly one of a kind, just as God created her. She had the kindest heart, gave the best advice, and when she entered the room, everyone knew she had arrived. Her unique, piercing voice and unmistakable laugh had been part of her charm since childhood. Cassie deeply loved and cherished her mama, brother, sister, and her Nina Hela. She shared a special bond with her Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Yolanda from the time she was a baby and especially loved her grandma’s cooking.
Cassie loved the simplest things - making and selling candles, exploring photography, and was incredibly proud of what she learned in her photography class. She loved river rafting, making home cooked meals, playfully “stalking” her mama’s location, and binge-watching Netflix with her pups by her side. Cassie was part of a large, tight-knit family, and each of us held a special place in our hearts for our Cassie. Words cannot fully express the love we have for her. May our beautiful, kind-hearted girl Rest in Peace.
Awaiting Cassie in Heaven will be her forever cherished Great-Grandma Alvinita Gasca, whom she loved and adored, and will be reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
Cassie leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Nala and Stitch, father Tarral Seaboy, her mama, Cruzita Romero, Brother and Sister (Luke and Sarah Romero), and sister Khiana Seaboy. Bonus dad, Jacob Garcia; and her bonus siblings, Haley Dillard, Diego (Candace), Issac and Liana Garcia; She also leaves behind her stepdad, John (Anna) Romero; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Yolanda Gasca; maternal aunts, Liza Lyon, Lorrie Gasca, Elizabeth Grillo, her beloved Nina Angelica and Uncle Randy Vigil, and Carla (Gabriel) Gasca.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her best friends, also known as “The Cousins.” Jaelynn (CJ) Maestas, JP (Aliyah)Lyon, Nikki (Alex) Arvizo, Justin Zane (Samantha) and Elise Grillo, Franchesca, Juliana, and Charlie Salazar, BriAnaRose Medina, and Adam Quintana; as well as her little cousins, Renesa Maestas, Aria Wooten, Christian Martinez, Theodore Arvizo, Sierra Jaramillo, Giana Maestas, and Serenity Lyon.
Additional family members include her Nino Barney Gasca (Magdalene), Auntie Annabelle (LeAnn) Gasca, Uncle Paul (Arlie) Gasca, Aunt Donnie Gasca, Tia Dolores Trujillo, Tia Delfina Salazar, and Tia Josephine Salazar.
It means so much that the people she loved most are the ones carrying her as pallbearers: Jaelynn, Nikki, Franchesca, JP, Justin Zane, Charlie, Uncle Randy, and Nino Barney.
Cassie’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us with prayers, phone calls, messages, visits, sympathy cards, food, and monetary gifts. Spending time with family and friends during this difficult time has brought us great comfort, and your compassion will never be forgotten. A special thank you to Cassie’s Auntie Beth and Auntie Carla for creating the beautiful photo memories, and to Nikki for the homemade and meaningful rosary. The family also extends sincere thanks to the New Mexico State Police for providing Cassie with a beautiful escort.
