With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Carlos Alfonso Trujillo who passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday morning, May 29, 2026.

Carlos was born on September 9, 1973, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Carlos was the first-born son of Jose Alfonso and Elsa Trujillo. Carlos graduated from Espanola Valley High School in 1991 and served two years in the United States Navy. Carlos was a talented artist who created beautiful retablos, wooden crosses and Spanish Colonial furniture. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, Norte Dame Fighting Irish and the Atlanta Braves.

Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved son Brandon Luke Trujillo, grandparents Abel and Cloide Trujillo and Amos and Stella Roybal, and uncles Tim Roybal and Patrick Trujillo.

Carlos is survived by his daughter Jillian Trujillo; parents Alfonso and Elsa Trujillo; brother Andrew and his wife Andrea Trujillo; nephews Aivryn Trujillo, Landon and Noah Gallegos and his high school friend and companion Josie Rendon. Carlos is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends, all who will miss him dearly.

Services are pending and will be announced as soon as they become available.
