Carlos Jesse Pacheco

Carlos Jesse Pacheco, 27, a resident of San Pedro, NM,  passed away on January 5, 2024.  He was born on January 30, 1996 in Albuquerque, NM. 

Carlos is preceded in death by his mother Frieda Yazzie, grandfather Frank Yazzie and aunt Sheila Yazzie.  

Carlos is survived by his father Eddie Pacheco and stepmother Daina Pacheco, brothers Michael and Deandre Pacheco, sister Ayanaliese Pacheco, and niece Avianna Pacheco.  Brothers Christian Miera, Leland and Roman Salazar, grandparents Sharon and Frank Archuleta and Martha Yazzie, step grandparents Richard and Carol Salazar and Annette Zabalza.  Uncles Jesse Rios (Nicole), cousins Jeremiah and Arianna, Richard Salazar (Nicole), cousins Isaiah, Amari, and Ezra. Jayden Zabalza (Andy), and Ferlin Yazzie.  Aunts Victoria Quintana, cousin Destiny, Melinda Jones (Harrison), and Pearl Cayaditto, very special aunt Miranda Yazzie (CJ), cousins Estrella, Christopher, Alexandria and Andres Montoya.  Many other relatives and friends too numerous to list.  

Carlos was very talented and creative, those who knew him knew he was a very good artist, he would often draw beautiful pictures for his loved ones.  He also loved to run and competed in local races, he had the opportunity to compete in the Pojoaque Butterfly Run and the Duke City Marathon. Carlos will always be remembered as a gentle and kind person and will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.  

Honorary pallbearers named are Michael, Deandre, Ayanaliese, and Avianna Pacheco. Christian Miera, Leland and Roman Salazar.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at El Buen Pastor Church, 609 Calle Rivera, Espanola NM.
