Bryan Lucero

BRYAN CHRISTOPHER LUCERO , age 28 a resident of Espanola, was called away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 due to a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sofio Ortiz.  Bryan is survived by his parents, Arlene and Ron Lucero of Albuquerque; his life partner, Michael Hunter; brother, Nathan Lucero and wife Shanea of Fort Carson CO; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Ortiz; special auntie, Lorie Ortiz of El Rito; nephew, Mateo; nieces, Lexi, Jeri and Ajaya; paternal grandparents, Jake and Dollie Lucero of Española; Godparents, Ponciano and Bennie Madrid of El Rito and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Bryan had a whirlwind of special friends throughout his short life, and he loved them all. Special thanks to Michelle Fresquez, Maddie Rodriguez McVay and Novela Salazar who came and made his final days a little more enjoyable. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 17 at 11:00 am for family and close friends at DeVargas Funeral Home . The family of Bryan Christopher Lucero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
