Brian Vigil

Brian P. Vigil (Cundi) of Cundiyo NM passed away at home at the age of 44 of a lengthy illness with his loving family by his side. Brian is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Emiterio and Amelia Vigil, Special Uncles Ernest and Gerard Vigil, and Tommy Montoya. Maternal Grandparents, Ramon and Estefanita Vigil, Aunt Matilda Vigil, Numerous Great Uncles and Aunts and many cousins.

Brian (Cundi) was born and raised in Cundiyo NM, He attended Pojoaque public schools and graduated from Pojoaque Valley High, class of 1995, he worked for the Pueblo of Pojoaque for many years, where he created so many long and lasting friendships, he was a man with a great big heart, had so much love, and was so kind to everyone he encountered. He had a passion for cars (lowriders) he always had to have all his cars clean and shiny, he loved attending car shows with his Parents, that's where his love for cars all started. As a child and grown man he loved collecting Diecast cars and making model cars. His collection included collecting the "lil Homie" figurines. Brian loved music and attending many concerts, he made many memories and friendships along the way, Brian had many friends, but his parents were not only Dad and Mom, but they were his best friends, they adored their one and only baby boy. He will be missed dearly to all who knew him.

Brian is survived by his loving parents Bobby and Theresa Vigil, A special cousin, he considered a sister Vanessa (Macario) Gutierrez, Special Uncle Emit (Yvette) Vigil, Uncle Tony (Louie) Vigil, Special Aunts Valerie Montoya, and Brenda Vigil, Cousins Claudette Grinage, Davina Montoya, Marliyn Trujillo, Aj Romero, Mariah and Derek Vigil, Billy (Jolene) Vigil, and Jerry Vigil.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a Memorial mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. The family of Brian Vigil as entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley www.devargasfuneral.com
