Beverly Patricia Martinez , 62, a lifelong resident of Chimayo, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was preceded in death by her two sons, Christopher and Jesus Martinez; parents, Juan and Mabel Duran; brothers, Arthur, John and Freddy Duran. Beverly is survived by her loving “Hun” Felix Martinez, her girl’s, Lucy and Kiera; daughters, Kim Martinez, Monica Soveranez (Robert), Erminda Duran (Joshua) and Jackie Trujillo (Chris); grandchildren, Kaylee Martinez, Daijah Martinez, Donald Martinez (Erica), Brenda George (Joey), Racquel Soveranez, Emily Aguilar, Samuel Duran, Patricia Garcia, and Danielle Torres (Charles Romero); great-grandchildren, Ayden Martinez, Lilly Romero and baby Romero; siblings, Kathy (José), Dennis (Karen), Marjorie (David), Clara, Laura (Jim), Susan (Robert), Belinda, Mike (Luisa), Timmy, Robert and Daniel (Monica); brothers-in-law, Carpio Martinez (Cecilia), Eddie Martinez (Rosie); sisters-in-law, Ernestina Romero, Linda Romero, Flora Amador; special cousin, Shirley Vigil and her loving aunts, Corrine Martínez, Donelia Herrera, Prescilla Martínez, Gloria Martínez and Yvonne Vigil as well as many other nieces, nephews, God-children, and loving relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with a memorial Mass to celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo. The family of Beverly Patricia Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
