Bertha Martinez

Bertha M Martinez, 51, from Chimayo, NM, passed away on April 9, 2023.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo and Tessie Martinez of Chimayo, maternal grandparents Ramon and Frances Padilla, paternal grandparents Celsa and Toribio Martinez, brothers Raymond, Carlos, Santiago, Tommy Martinez; nephew Mario Trujillo; and father of her children Halbert Martinez.

She is survived by her children, Lorencita "Nana", Frances "Pancha" (Norman), Halbert "burger" (Tiffany) Martinez, the loves of her life her grandchildren; Tatyana, Jasiah, Marcos, and Baby Mateo. Sibling's, Earl, Andrew (Rhonda), Dora, and sister-in-law, Vivian Martinez. The large extended Martinez family in Chimayo and large extended Padilla family in Hernandez as well as her niece's, nephew's, aunt's, uncle's, and friends. 

There will be a funeral at El Potrero Cemetery on Saturday, April 29. 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are: Bertha's grandbabies Tatyana, Jasiah, Marcos, and baby Mateo.
