BERTHA MARQUEZ, 72, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo was called home with her Lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marquez Sr.; her son, Robert Marquez Jr.; mother, Catherine Aguilar, and her brother, David Aguilar. She is survived by her brother, Greg Phillip Aguilar and wife Norma; niece, Kateri Aguilar, nephew, DJ Aguilar; daughters, Yvette and son -in-law, Eddie Giron, Veronica Marquez (Carlos Chavarria), Yvonne Marquez, grandson/son, Cisco Marquez (Deanna), granddaughter, Toyanna Rose Marquez Atencio, great-grandson, Andrew Marquez; aunt Viola Baca and her family in Santa Clara and family in El Paso Texas. The Marquez and Aguilar families would like to thank cousin Simon Baca for handling the arrangements for the family, and the family would also like to thank Pastor Antonio and wife Sylvia Martinez for the prayers and support in our time of need. A special thank you to Hospice for the care and support for our mother and sister. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Santa Clara Pueblo. Honorary pallbearers who served the family were Eddie (Shorty) Giron and Cisco Marquez.
