Benny Moya

\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n BENNY L. MOYA, 49, a resident of Española, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Benito Clyde Moya; aunts, Myra Salazar and Annie Sandoval; uncles, James and Efren Salazar and nephew, Kyle Moya. Benny was employed for the past 27 years at LANL as a computer tech. Mr. Moya is survived by his son, Adrian Moya; mother, Vickie Moya; brother, Gary Moya and sister, Sharon Martinez and husband Joseph all of Española; nieces and nephews, Crystal Moya of Phoeniz, Arizona, Gary Clyde Moya II of Taos, Maria V. Martinez of Española; niece and God-daughter, Heather Martinez; great-nieces, Deja and Shanti Valdez; great-nephew, Josiah Valdez all of Española; special aunt, Laura Romero of Albuquerque; mother of his son, Therese Moya of Española; sister-in-law, Kathleen Moya of Albuquerque; best friend and 1st cousin, Karen Gallegos of Cundiyo and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, a rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will take place on Saturday, February 20th at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. The Moya family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n
