March 6, 1946 – September 7, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mino Romero, who left us peacefully on September 7, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on March 6, 1946, in the quiet village of Nambe, New Mexico. Mino spent his entire life on the same cherished land where he was born. Deeply rooted in his community and family, Mino’s legacy is one of hard work, love, and unwavering dedication.
A gifted mechanic from the age of 15, Mino turned his passion into a lifelong career. He was the proud owner of Mino and Greg’s Automotive and Mino’s Towing, businesses that became cornerstones of the local community. Through decades of service, he built more than just engines—he built trust, friendships, and a reputation for honesty and excellence.
When he wasn’t working under the hood, Mino could often be found on a snowmobile trail or at the drag strip on weekends, embracing the thrill of speed and the outdoors. His love for adventure was matched only by his commitment to community. Mino never hesitated to lend a helping hand, support local sports teams, or offer quiet acts of kindness to neighbors and friends.
Above all, Mino was a family man. He loved his wife, Agnes Romero, with all his heart, and together they built a life full of laughter, strength, and enduring love. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
