Armando Pacheco, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2022, joining his beautiful daughter in heaven Andrina Manzanares.  Armando was born and raised in Cordova, NM on November 14, 1946, to Garcedon and Adonelia Pacheco.  He married his soul mate and love of his life Polita Pacheco whom they shared 52 years together along with five daughters, one son, 15 grandkids and 8 great grandkids all of whom he adored.

Armando was a mechanic at trade, he loved to work on his cars as well as helping others figure out their issues on vehicles.  Armando loved going for wood and picking pinon and not to forget going to the casino.

Armando was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Andrina Manzanares which he loved dearly.  His parents Garcedon and Adonelia Pacheco, brothers Teddy, Valeriano and Jake Pacheco.  Sisters Lorraine Barela, Mida Pacheco and Irene Medina.  Mother and Father-in-law Ermelinda and Seiz Trujillo, brother-in-law Oliveo Trujillo, sisters-in-law Dora Solis and Beverly Montoya and many nieces and nephews.

Armando is survived by his wife Polita Pacheco, daughters Brenda Sandoval (Norman), Bernadette Molina, Michelle Martinez (Tim), Janet Torresdey (Angel) son Teddy Pacheco (Jeanette). Brother Joe Romero (Betty), sisters Mildred Aguilar (Louie), Ruth Lucero (Sammy), Pauline Garcia (Edwin). Sisters-in-law Patty Trujillo, Corine Talamante (Salomon), Anabelle Gonzales (Paul), Mary Vigil, Nancy Martinez (Bobby), goddaughter Sofia Torresdey, godson Nathaniel Pacheco and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Armando will begin on Thursday April 7, 2022 with a public visitation at 6:30pm and a rosary to follow at 7:00pm in Sangre de Cristo Chapel of De Vargas Funeral Home. Mass will be held on Friday April 8, 2022 at 11:00am at Holy Family Church in Chimayo with burial to follow at the Cordova Catholic Cemetery.

Armando will be carried to his final resting place by:

Teddy Pacheco, Brandon Martinez, Norman Salazar, Angel Torresdey, Jose Villanueva and Timmothy Martinez.  Along with all his grandkids and greatgrandkids.

The Family of Armando Pacheco has entrusted the care of their loved one to the staff at De Vargas Funeral home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
