Arla - Age 58 - Albuquerque Ferran

ARLA JO NORRIS FERRAN, was born on October 31, 1952 in Española. Arla was welcomed into our Lord’s arms surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 19, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Delton Norris; a baby brother, Joseph Delton; grandmothers, Ollie Sala and Tita Folsom; grandfather, Joe Norris; in-laws, Joe and Bennie Ferran. Mrs. Ferran is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gilbert; daughters, Rebecca and husband Mike Cottone and Megan and husband Lakendrick Horn; her beloved grandchildren, Michael "Trey" and Landyn Cottone, and Alena Horn; mother, Flora Norris; brother, Thomas Norris; brother-in-law, Leonard Ferran; nephew, Joseph Norris; niece, Anastasia Ferran and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lawn Haven Memorial Cemetery in Clovis with the following serving as pallbearers, Jeff Bustos, David Balderrama, Mike Cottone, George Martinez, Seledon Garcia, and Lakendrick Horn. The Ferran family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
