Angelia (Lia) Rodriguez

ANGELIA M. (LIA) RODRIGUEZ, 19, a resident of Albuquerque and Pojoaque, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 following an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Jessie Rodriguez; great-grandmother, Victoria Lopez; great-grandfather, Johnny C. Rodriguez; aunts, Ursula Duran and Lourdes Montoya; maternal great-grandparents, Ben and Lorraine Montoya and Joe and Priscilla Duran. Lia was a 2020 graduate of Pojoaque Valley High School. She had big dreams and a big heart. One of her many goals was to be a real estate agent and a cosmetologist. When she was younger, she loved running thru sprinklers and most recently loved to cook and loved her pets. She loved the outdoors, family, and friends. Lia was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Lia is survived by her father, Jesus Rodriguez and wife Amanda of Española; mother, Santana Duran of Pojoaque; siblings, Amanda Martinez and companion David Vigil of Chimayo, Arianna Rodriguez and companion Juan Delvo of Albuquerque, Abran Duran of Pojoaque, Sophia, Graciela and Santos Rodriguez all of Albuquerque and Isaiah Lujan of Santa Fe; maternal grandparents, David and Elaine Duran of Pojoaque; aunt, Marquita Ortiz; uncle, Joe Daniel Duran and companion Lorrena Duran and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española. Burial to follow at the Pojoaque Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Jesus Rodriguez, Gio Lopez, Isaiah Lujan, Diego Martinez, Josh Najarro and Devin Duran. Honorary pallbearers will be Abran Duran, Andrez Rivera and Angel. The family of Lia M. Rodriguez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
