Andrea Fresquez-Baros

Andrea Fresquez-Baros , 42, a lifelong resident of Española, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from a sudden and unexpected illness. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ben Fresquez.  Andrea attended the Española Valley High School, class of 1997. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved artwork and painting retablos.  She loved music and singing, playing the trumpet with a mariachi group. Andrea was known for her personality and smile that lit up a room. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Carlos Baros; daughters, Evanyssa, Edyn and Carlyandra Baros all of Española; parents, Benny and Kathy Fresquez of San Pedro; sister, Regina and husband Brandon of Colorado; brother, Benito Fresquez and fiancée Wim of Seattle, Washington; paternal grandmother, Eremita (Erma) Fresquez of San Pedro; grandparents-in-law, Salomon and Erma Jaramillo of San Pedro; brother-in-law, Abel Baros of Española and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
