Anastacio Mondragon

Anastacio (Tony) Mondragon, 81, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his home in Alcalde. He was born in Chacon, N.M. on April 7, 1935 to the late Esther and Anastacio Mondragon. Tony and Mary began their lives together in October of 1967. He was an elder of Everlasting Life Apostolic Ministries. Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Esther; father, Anastacio; brothers, Eufelio, Gilbert, Phil, Carlos, Pete, Modesto and his daughter Natasha. Tony is survived by his wife, Mary; 8 children, Theresa (Calvin Smith), Larry (Antonette), Raymond (Patricia), Betty (Daniel Cardenas), John Eberle, Randy Eberle (Wanda Medina), Lori (Joey Lopez) and Lisa (Ephraim Hernandez); 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. His hobbies were working on cars and anything electronic. Above all was the Word of God. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Everlasting Life Apostolic Ministries on 1356 El Llano Rd in Española with a burial to follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Raymond Mondragon, Randy Eberle, Joey Lopez, Ephraim Hernandez, Juan Fernandez and Juan Fernandez Jr. The family asks that any floral arrangements please be sent to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory on 623 N. Railroad Ave in Española. The family of Anastacio (Tony) Mondragon has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
