In Loving Memory of Ana Bani Vargas Garcia 

Ana Bani Vargas Garcia, 54, of Chimayo, New Mexico, passed away on April 16, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1971, in Guerrero, Chihuahua. 

Ana was a woman whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. She had a deep love for cooking, often expressing her care through the meals she prepared for family and friends. She was known for her joyful spirit, always joking and making others laugh, even during difficult times. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found peace and purpose in learning about the Bible. Above all, she was devoted to her family and carried a constant concern for their well-being. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe I. Garcia; her children, Audel Vargas and his wife Cheyenne Palmer; Anthony Garcia and his wife Janice Suazo; Angela Zapalac and her husband Shad Zapalac; and Rebekah Zamora and her husband Mathew Zamora; and a grandson on the way, a blessing she deeply looked forward to. She is also survived by her parents, Paulino Vargas and Ana Maria Garcia, and her siblings, Zulma Vargas, Paulino Vargas, and Uziel Vargas. 

Ana’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the faith she carried throughout her life.
