Amy Vigil, 53, a resident of La Mesilla, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, August 6, 2021. Amy was preceded in death by her Son, Matt Sisneros Jr., Father Jose B. Montoya, Brother Valentine Montoya, paternal grandparents, Enrique & Sara Montoya, and maternal grandparents, Elias & Aurelia Martinez. She is survived by her Mother,

Rose Montoya; Daughter, Amberly Sisneros; Brothers & Sisters, Sam Montoya and wife, Debbie Montoya; Joanne Martel, Jenny Montoya, and Nelson Montoya and wife, Delfinia Montoya, and Sister in Law, Erna Montoya. Plus many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Amy was an incredibly talented florist, she spread her love of flowers throughout the Espanola Valley where she created beautiful arrangements for weddings and special events. She also worked throughout the valley where she became friends with countless people. Amy was a great cook who could whip up gourmet meals on a whim. She shined through her friendly smile, creativity, and generosity. Above all Amy was a great Mother, Amber and Matt were her whole world and they shared everything together. Amy was truly a work of art and her sparkle will truly be missed.

The family requires all service attendees to wear a mask during the services. Thank you! A rosary will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
