Amos Cordova passed peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Amos was a twin, born on December 24, 1966, to Edwina and Abran Cordova. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Amos knew him as a kind, generous, and loving person. He had a special nickname for everyone and a wonderful way of bringing a smile to those around him. His warmth, humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Abran and Edwina Cordova; his brother, Eli Cordova; and his sisters, Ida Chacon, Helen Parrish, Donna Cordova, and Minnie Cordova.

He is survived by his little keek-a-poo, Zayden Montoya, and his beloved nephew, Randy Linney, both of whom he helped raise and loved dearly. He is also survived by his sisters, Margie (Cosme) Chacon, Eloyda (Adolfo) Romero, Jeanne Sanchez, Stephanie (Roy) Jacquez; his twin sister, Angie Cordova; and his brothers, Abie Cordova, Ray (Judy) Cordova, and Dickie (Lisa) Cordova.

Amos also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish his memory and the many special moments they shared with him.

Services will be held on October 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Gallina, NM with the burial immediately following at the family plot next to Coronado High School also in Gallina, NM.
