Allen Lee Martinez – 31, a resident of Chimayo, born on February 19, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Los Alamos, NM as a result of an auto accident. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Martinez; maternal grandparents, Jose and Celina Dominguez; paternal grandfather, Siegfredo Martinez; and Andrea Trujillo. Allen is survived by his daughter, Shiana Martinez; parents, Daniel and Evelyn Martinez; brothers: Christopher James Martinez, Adam Martinez and Joshua Martinez all of Chimayo; paternal grandmother, Genoveva Martinez; maternal aunts/uncles: Louise and Juan Jimenez, Lenora Arrietta & son Lee Moquino, Lisa Perez & family, Mike Arrietta & family, Walter Trujillo & daughter Sharon, Leroy Dominguez & children LeAnn and Jose & families, Lucille and Dennis Martinez & Derrick, Sandra Madrid-Solis, Lorraine Dominguez and companion Albert Torres & children Elisha, Angeleen and Carlos; paternal aunts/uncles: Joe and Luella Martinez & family, Helen and Johnny Griego & family, Horace and Priscilla Martinez & family, Mary Francechina and companion Dan Singleton, Marie Martinez and companion Larry Medina; great-aunts/uncles: Joe and Geri Trujillo, Filiberto and Lucy Dominguez, Nestor and Cipia Dominguez, Nellie and Augustine Valdez; numerous other loving cousins, family & friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with burial to follow at Rio Chiquito Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Adrian and Jose Dominguez, Jeremiah Martinez, Gary Montoya, Carlos Maestas and Elijah Martinez; honorary pallbearers: Nia, LeeAnn, Nadine and Shania.
