Alfred Sena

ALFRED SENA, 77, a resident of Española, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Sylviana Sena. Alfred was a loving and caring father who cared for his family deeply. He had a great personality and was easy to get along with. He was also a hardworking man who took pride in all of his projects and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mr. Sena is survived by his children, Jose Sena (Tina) of Española, Bernice Sena of Alcalde, Felecia Crull of Albuquerque and Kim Ledden (Doug) of Austin, Texas; mother of his children, Dora Sena of Española; siblings, Elsie Quintana (Silviano) of Alcalde, Mary Griffith and Susie Atencio (Gilbert) all of El Guique, Tessie Martinez (Joe) of Hernandez, Manuel “Tony” Sena of Chamita, Phillip Sena (Joanne) of El Guique, Alice Encinas of Las Cruces, Loretta Archuleta (Roberto) of Velarde, Priscilla Atencio of Clovis, Jose Sena (Geraldine) of El Guique and Genara Vigil (Eloy) of Española and numerous relatives and friends who he loved dearly. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Sam Hedrick, Chris Quintana, Harold Sena, Joel Martinez, Richard Atencio and Jeremias Archuleta. Honorary pallbearer will be Roy Abeyta. The family of Alfred Sena has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
