Alfred - Age 60 - El Guique Trujillo

ALFRED “BULLY” TRUJILLO, was born February 19, 1951 in La Villita, NM to Nick J. Trujillo and Ramona Trujillo-Martinez. Alfred past away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. He was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick Trujillo and Ramona Martinez; his grandfather and grandmother, Jose “Chema” and Sinforosa Montoya; special uncle, Eveardo Montoya and close cousin Lawrence “Boy” Maestas. He is survived by his wife, Christina Trujillo of La Villita; son, Alfred Trujillo Jr. and wife Barbara Trujillo and his beloved grandsons, Walter Trujillo and Zacharias Trujillo of San Pedro; sons: Antonio Trujillo of Santa Fe, Jose Trujillo of La Villita and daughter, Ursula Trujillo of La Villita; father, Ruben Martinez; sisters, Jane Garcia and husband Julian Garcia, Gloria Naranjo and Pastor Michael Naranjo, Ruby Valdez and husband Bengie Valdez, Bernice Chavez and husband Wilfred Chavez, Tina Borrego and husband Michael Borrego and close aunts Helen Maestas and Helen Salas. Alfred had numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Alfred was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and spending time in the mountains with family and friends. Especially in his younger days, he loved to play softball in the Chama Days Tournaments. He was a skilled craftsman in woodworking and cabinetry and his beautiful crosses and cabinets can be seen in many of the homes of family and friends. He was always cheerful and has a beautifully contagious laugh. His happy spirits always made those around him feel welcomed and loved. He will be greatly missed. Cremation is has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at The Rock Christian Fellowship in Española with burial to follow at Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde with the following serving as honorary pallbearers: Joseph Montoya, Juanito Valdez, Albert Chavez, Lucas Corvatta, Tony Valdez, Cippie Martinez, John Gallegos, Alex Gallegos, Henry Maestas, Eric Bustos and James Sisneros, J.R.
