Aggie Sylvia Lujan

Aggie Sylvia Lujan, 81, a longtime resident of Santa Cruz, passed away in her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Cipriano Lujan, whom she was married to for 57 years; her parents Bernabe and Fabiola Garcia; in-laws Antonio and Delfina Lujan; brothers Delfin Archuleta, Gilbert Garcia (wife Darleen) and Henry Garcia (wife Glorinda); and sister-in-law Marylou Garcia.

Aggie loved her family dearly. She was a proud member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and was a loyal servant to Jehovah God. She was a stay-at-home mom who took the best care of her family and enjoyed selling Avon on the side. She loved gardening and seeing her beautiful flowers grow. She also loved watching her telenovelas. Aggie was a very strong, loving woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Aggie is survived by her brothers, Clyde Garcia (wife Tonita) of Ranchitos, Ben Garcia (wife Flora) of Chimayo, and Johnny Garcia of Chimayo; sisters, Mary Padilla of Hernandez, Eugenia Barela (husband Johnny) of Española, Patricia Trujillo (husband Aurdoro) of Grants, Josie Garcia of El Llano, and Pauline Garcia of Española; daughter, Merlene Cordova; sons, Michael Lujan (ex-wife Rose) and Steven Lujan (wife Corrine); five grandchildren, Michael Lujan (Danny Enriquez), Jenna Lujan (companion Elias Allison), Nelson Cordova, Brandon Lujan, and Lexy Lujan; special niece Denise Martinez (husband Martin); good friend, Rosina Vigil (husband Carlos); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A tribute of life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Services will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Arroyo Seco, NM. A closed burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
