Our beloved son, brother and father, Adam Paul Ortiz, recently passed away surrounded by friends and family. A resident of Albuquerque. He was born Nov. 26, 1978 and passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015. He is survived by his daughter Jamison, the love and light of his life; parents Tony and Guadalupita Ortiz; his brother John and wife Kirsten and nieces Mikayla, Hannah, and Emma; his very dear friends Andrea Jasen and Jonah Miller; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Adam was well loved by all who knew him and was known for his wit and humor and his ability to make everyone feel special. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1997 and earned a bachelor’s degree from the Anderson School of Business at the University of New Mexico in 2003. His love of marketing and sales led to a successful career. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church in Albuquerque, located at 5901 St. Joseph’s Drive NW with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. also at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Burial to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE. A celebration of Adam’s life will begin at noon at the Notah Begay III room, Ladera Golf Course, 3401 Ladera Dr. NW.\r\n \r\n
