Abelina Lovato

ABELINA “LITA” LOVATO, 89, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away of a lengthy illness on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Abelina was preceded in death by her parents, Abelino and Rose Lucero; daughter, Betty Roberta Lovato, son, Alex Lovato Jr.; sisters, Sophie, Mary, Esther, and Simon. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Alejandro “Alex” Lovato; children, Betty Ann Valdez, Rita Jo Romero (Leroy), Rudy Lovato (Madeline), and Elias Lovato; grandchildren, Debbie Roybal (Bryant), Norma Escobedo (Adrian), Mark Valdez, Maranda Lovato, great-grandchildren, Vanna Ortega, Devon Escobedo, Jaden Escobedo, Shayna Roybal, Domonic Valdez, Shaylissa Valdez, great-great-grandchildren, Aliyah Roybal, Tristan Ortega and many other relatives and friends. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial will be at a later date.
