Abel A. (Tony) Gomez, 75, a resident of Nambe passed away after a brief illness on Friday, May 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan A. and Andreita Gomez; brother, Larry Gomez; sister, Margaret Morrison. Tony is survived by his brothers & sisters: Candelaria Gomez of Santa Fe, Clyde Gomez and wife MaryLee of Las Vegas, Nevada; Susie Garduño and husband Michael of Albuquerque, Epifanio Gomez and wife Patsy of Nambe and Barbara Bills of Pojoaque; numerous nephews, nieces & relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe with interment to follow at Nambe Catholic Cemetery.
