LEVI TRUJILLO, 84, a resident of Cordova, passed away following a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Lucrecia Trujillo; in-laws, Candido Romero, Sarita Romero; son, James Trujllo, Andrew Trujillo, Tammy Trujillo, Nelson Montoya; brothers, Elizardo Trujillo, Maclovio Ortiz; sister-in-law Amada Ortiz, close sister-in-law, Luisita Romero, brothers-in-law, Tony Romero, Candelario and Avaristo Romero; grandson, Joey Trujillo. Levi enjoyed riding horses when he was younger and raising his lambs. He loved to sing for his family, and enjoyed spending time at the casino with good friends. He worked for 30 plus years at LANL as a custodian and was very proud of his work. Levi is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gregorita Trujillo; children,, Nina Torrez (Lawrence), Frutoso Trujillo (Charlene), Sarah Chavez (Alfred), Evelyn Martinez (Dennis); siblings, Eloyda Sargent (Charles), Rudolpho Trujillo (Eremita), Grandson who cared for him and was raised by him, Antonio Trujillo, Grandchildren, Sheila Vigil, Alfred Trujillo, Valerie Gonzales, Florence Sanchez, Jamie Trujillo, Donny Trujillo, Crystal Martinez, Jody Trujillo, Erika Martinez – Montoya, Abel Trujillo, Meghan Martinez, Lucrecia Chavez, 15 great-grandchildren, Nurse Andrea Trujillo, Brothers and Sisters-in-Law Octavio Romero(Rita), Elsie and Ramon Amaya, Agustina, Dora Romero, Ida Trujillo and numerous other nieces, nephews, Beloved friends and loved ones. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Cordova, with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Sheila Vigil, Crystal Martinez, Lucrecia Chavez, Meghan Martinez, Erika Martinez-Montoya, Valerie Gonzales, Florence Sanchez, and Kyleigh Trujillo, honorary pallbearers will be all his grandsons.
