BRENDON HERRERA, 20, a resident of La Madera, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. Brendon was preceded in death by both his loving parents, Brenda Gallegos and Max A. Trujillo; grandparents, Juan and Perfilia Gallegos and his best friend, Miquela Martinez. Brendon was full of life, he was generous and loved everyone and had the best integrity to anyone. He was never late, he was always on time and ready for hard work and loved his dog “little Miss and Ruby”. He had a bright smile and would brighten your day. Brendon is survived by his siblings, Candice Herrera and spouse Anita of Albuquerque, Delbert Herrera and spouse Nicole of Los Lunas, Max Trujillo and spouse Shiann of Ojo Caliente, Carissa and Damian Herrera both of La Madera; nephews, Brandon Herrera, Jeremiah Herrera and Maxis Trujillo, and numerous aunts, uncles, co-workers, extended relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente. Burial to follow at Vallecitos Catholic Cemetery with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Delbert Herrera, Max Trujillo, Candice Herrera, Carissa Herrera, Jason Trujillo, Greg Trujillo, Devin Griego, Joe Trujillo and Mark Berry. The family of Brendon Herrera has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
