BERNIE M. MARQUEZ, a resident of Ranchitos, has gone to join her husband, Jose E. Marquez Sr.; son, Donald Marquez, in their new home. She is survived by her daughters, Connie, Rose, Christina, and Norma, sons, Jose E. Marquez Jr. and wife, Gerald Marquez and wife, and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Marquez; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ida Martinez; sisters, Frances and Odelia plus nieces nephews, relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. John’s the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Serving the family as pallbearers are Robert Gress, Andrew Garcia, Antonio Trujillo, Estevan Marquez, Mark Manning, and David Medina. The family of Bernie M. Marquez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
