WALTER P TRUJILLO, 33, a resident of Rio Chiquito, passed away from a short illness at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Percy L. Trujillo; his sister, Melanie DeAguero; grandparents, Mable and Morce Martinez and Pablo C. and Lucy M. Trujillo; great-grandparents, Joe and Fedelina  Valdez both of Chimayo; uncles, Walter Trujillo and Tony Martinez; cousin, Theresa Trujillo, Práxedes Trujillo and Jeffery Martinez.  Walter was born on February 7, 1986, he enjoyed playing with his kids, was attending Northern Community College for Barbering. He had a good heart and would take the shirt off his back for anyone. Walter loved his kids dearly. He had a big heart, he always helped others before himself. He loved to joke with everyone he loved drawing, he enjoyed making people laugh, him and his sister Karina were close friends. Walter always worried about his mother. Walter is survived by his mother, Virginia Trujillo; children, Walter Jr., Jeremiah of Albuquerque,  Adelita and Sofia Trujillo; mother of his children and Fiancé, Gloriadell Gonzales of Peñasco; nephews, Jason and  Eric Trujillo of Rio Chiquitio; God-daughter and Niece, Mallory Trujillo; sisters, Karina Trujillo (Toby Martinez) and Mable DeAguero of Chimayo; close friends, Ann Vargas and husband of Chimayo; aunt, Clara and husband Nelson Trujillo of Colorado Springs, Josie Medina of Dixon, Felomena Martinez of Espanola; very close cousins to him Joey Trujillo and Emilo; Godmother, Barbara and Isaac Trujillo of Rio Chiquito; close family friend Olivama Sandoval and his family. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a burial to follow at the Rio Chiquito Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Toby Martinez, Dennis Trujillo, Angelica Dominquez, Gabriel Trujillo, and Letica Dominguez, honorary pallbearers are Mallory Trujillo, Jason Trujillo, Eric Trujillo, Walter Jr. Trujillo, Adelita Trujillo and Sophia Trujillo.
