PHILLIP L HERRERA, a resident of Nambe, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Phillip was born on March 23 ,1973 to Osmundo and Tina Herrera. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Herrera; niece Vanessa Herrera nephew Nathaniel Chavez; cousins Manuelita Herrera and Clarissa Castellano; paternal grandparents, Flaviano and Celia Herrera, maternal grandparents, Max and Luisa Bueno; uncles, Max, Louie, and Johnny Bueno, aunt Molly Solis; Godparents Gilbert and Patricia Labadie and many other cousins, uncles, aunts and friends who were very close to him. Phillip is survived by his parents, Osmundo and Tina Herrera; siblings, Dennis Herrera, Chris and Sarah Herrera, Melissa and Ben Esquibel, Yolanda and Manuel Chavez, uncles, Nick and Olivia, Charlie and Carmen, David Herrera , aunts Nina and Chendo Roybal, Cleo and Rudy Castellano, Aggie and Randy Roybal, Danny Salazar ,Virginia and John Solis Maxine Bueno, Maryanne and Eli Portugal, Berlina and Gabriel Herrera, nephews and nieces, Adrian, Matthias, Elijah, Sophie, Eliana Esquibel, Antonio Herrera, Stephanie, Ashley, Fabian and Manuel Chavez Jr. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Nambe. Serving the family as pallbearers are Tim Herrera Antonio Herrera, Fabian Herrera, Adrian Esquibel, Charlie Herrera, and Peter Lujan. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to the De Vargas Funeral Home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
