VICTOR ARCHULETA, a resident of La Mesilla formally of Cebolla, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Victor was preceded in death by his father, Danny Archuleta; paternal grandparents, Esther and Damian Archuleta, maternal grandparents, Ismael and Sadie Maes; aunt, Lydia Garcia, uncles, Ismael (Soney) Maes, Gilbert Maes, Joseph Alonso Maes. Victor was liked by every one that met him, he loved his friends and family deeply. He was an avid wood carver and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylie Jean Archuleta; mother of his daughter, Shandra Clow; mother, Nelda Jean Archuleta; brother, Angelo Archuleta and wife, Melanie; niece and nephew, Leah and Isaac Archuleta of Mount Vernon Washington; aunts, Sarah Benevides and her late husband, Ruben of Albuquerque, Margie Ryzenski and her late husband Doug of Las Vegas, NV, Loretta Maes of Las Vegas, NM, Nancy Atencio and husband Alfonso of Cuba, Petra Maes of Santa Fe, Jenny Pino and husband Manuel of Salt Lake City, Mary Heckle and husband Mark, and Vangie Jiron and Husband of Layton UT, and many cousins, family and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Santo Nino Catholic Church in Cebolla, with a Memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m., with Father Charlie Martinez officiating the services. Burial will be held at Cebolla Cemetery.
