Roseanne Leyba

ROSEANNE C. LEYBA, 37, a resident of El Duende, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Zebedeo and Frutosa Martinez; uncle, Marcus Martinez; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Fred Leyba; cousin, Isaac “Ike” Trujillo. RoseAnn was a kind hearted, caring, beautiful person who was loved by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her mother who loved her dearly, Marsha Maestas (step-father) Roy; father, Ernest Leyba and companion Adrianne Branch; brother, Rubel; God-children, Annessa and Elijah Segura; nephew, DeMarcus; niece, Tailynn; uncles and aunts, Robert (Irma), Eric (Judy), Richard (Annette) and Arnold (Yvette); special friends, Alexandra Sherwood and Miranda Romero; step-brother, Jesse Maestas; nina, Beatrice Salazar (Wayne), and several loving cousins, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. also at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are, Rubel Leyba, Ritchie Martinez, Phillip Chacon, John C de Baca, Orlando Griego, Arnie Martinez, Marc Martinez and Jesse Maestas, honorary pallbearers Anessa Leyba, DeMarcus Leyba, Alexandra Sherwood and Elijah Segura.
