Heather R. Sandoval – Martinez, age 27, a resident of Cordova, born on March 15, 1990 and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2017. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend whom her family loved dearly. Heather was a beautiful person, always had a beautiful smile. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her maternal side, great-grandparents, Israel and Cordilia Sandoval, David and Floudia Lopez; and grandparents, Onivas Sandoval and Ruby Lopez; great-uncles, Damian and Ruben Sandoval; her paternal side, great-grandparents, Octavio and Patrocinia Martinez and Carmelita Salazar and Frank Chavez; grandparents, Jose Rubel Martinez; tio, Tommy Martine; cousin, Ryan Caleb Medina and tia, Rosie Lopez; y muchos otros tios Lopez, y otros primos y primas y familiars. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Cordova, with a burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Linda Martinez Granados, Marylou Martinez, Donald Serna, CJ Trujillo, Israel Sandoval, Darren Martinez, Kayla Mansfield and Hilary Bustos.
